Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Develop detailed CAD drawings and models for concrete pipe and precast products based on project requirements.
- Interpret project plans, specifications, and codes to produce accurate and functional designs.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and clients to clarify design needs and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing bills of materials and other technical documentation.
- Ensure all designs adhere to company standards, industry regulations, and safety requirements.
- Review and revise designs to incorporate feedback or changes as needed.
- Support the production team with technical guidance and resolve design-related issues during manufacturing.
- Maintain accurate records of design files and project documentation.
- Stay updated on advancements in design software, tools, and industry trends.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solid Works, or similar CAD software.
- Working knowledge of ERP/Inventory Control Software, preferably Titan.
- Understanding of precast concrete design, production methods, and industry standards.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
- Must reside in the continental U.S.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
Work is generally performed Monday-Friday, 40+ hours per week depending on workload and production demands.
Typical Physical DemandsPhysical mobility, which may require any or all the following: standing, sitting, walking, climbing, reaching, bending/stooping, lifting (50 lbs. max), pushing/pulling (50 lbs. max).
Working ConditionsOffice work will be performed in clean, climate-controlled areas, with fluorescent lighting. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in all production and loading areas.
CompensationBased on skills, knowledge, and experience.
