Maintenance Technician
Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Technician on behalf of a client in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. This individual will provide hands-on maintenance expertise to service, repair and maintain process and utility manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment failures, identifying root causes, completing repairs and overhauls, performing equipment setup and alignment, and implementing corrective actions to minimize production downtime. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on equipment repair experience and the ability to effectively support Operations in a production environment.
Day-to-Day:
- Service, repair and maintain process and utility manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify root causes
- Repair/overhaul gearboxes, pumps, blowers, fans, drives and similar equipment
- Perform equipment timing, leveling and alignment
- Support equipment uptime, line efficiency and overall equipment effectiveness
- Document repairs and corrective actions in CMMS
- Partner closely with Operations and assist with engineering changes
