Maintenance Technician; 2nd Shift

Reporting to Production Engineering Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible to provide mechanical and technical troubleshooting expertise to conduct repair and preventive maintenance of production equipment to ensure the continuation of production and the reduction of unscheduled downtime.

• 姫erform maintenance repairs and modifications as needed on production equipment
• 姫erform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment in a timely manner
• 柊ssist with equipment changeovers as needed to support production and quality standards
• 柊ssist with special projects such as equipment moves, work cell set up and equipment installation
• 謬rack, monitor and conduct (predictive) maintenance (schedule) on various equipment
• 姫erform facility maintenance which could include electrical, plumbing, replacement of lighting fixtures, fabrication of metals, etc.
• 匹ollect and discard old machine parts, clean work area after performing maintenance on equipment

• 彦ollow quality procedures and work instructions relative to maintenance
• 百uggest and implement continuous improvements in support of company goals and machine optimization
• 姫ractice housekeeping requirements in support of 5S effort
• 柊uthority to stop production if necessary to correct a quality issue
• 標ork with operators to ensure equipment is functioning at maximum efficiency

• 柊ccurately complete all required paperwork including work orders, submit on timely basis
• 筆ay train operators on small troubleshooting issues
• 柊dditional responsibilities and assignments as directed by management.

• 菱igh School Diploma or GED, continued education in related field preferred
• 彦ive years of proven hands on maintenance experience Skills

• 百trong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• 姫osition requires a basic command of the English language
• 百ome machining and welding skills preferred
• 百trong multi-task and organizational skills

• 柊bility to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• 筆ust be able to stand, bend, reach and stoop
• 筆ust be able to ascend and descend a ladder unassisted
• 筆ust be able to understand and following written and verbal instructions
