Job Title: RN - Atrium Health Cabarrus Nephrology FT Nights

Department: Atrium Health Cabarrus - Nephrology

Status: Full time

Hours Per Week: 36

Pay Range: $34.90 - $52.35 per hour (subject to qualifications)

Schedule Details: Sign‑on Bonus eligible. Night shift.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide comprehensive patient care and coordinate care through the nursing process, delivering safe and therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and strong communication skills to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
  • Perform and supervise peritoneal dialysis procedures both within and outside the unit.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams including physicians of various specialties to ensure high‑quality, compassionate care for patients ranging from young adults to geriatric individuals with acute renal failure, renal insufficiency, and other nephrotic conditions.
Expectations / Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers issued by the American Heart Association.
Where You Will Work

The Nephrology unit is a 14‑bed medical unit dedicated to the care of patients ranging from young adults to geriatric individuals with acute renal failure, renal insufficiency, and other primary diagnoses involving nephrotic conditions. Staff members perform peritoneal dialysis both within and outside the unit. This unit is classified as low‑to‑moderate acuity and focuses on continuous monitoring and specialized interventions.

The unit collaborates closely with physicians from various specialties to provide high‑quality, compassionate care.
