• Healthcare Setting: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Teaching Hospital, Trauma Level III, Chest Pain & Stroke Center of Excellence
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 3, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm – 7:00am)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780 - $1910
• Patient Ratio: 1:2

• Parking: Free on-site
• Floating: Required within the region and scope of practice; paid travel time between facilities if floating mid-shift

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state (required for travel nursing jobs in NC)
• Minimum 2 years of recent critical care nursing experience (CVICU experience strongly preferred)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficient in management of vasoactive medications, surgical drains, chest tubes, ventilators, and CRRT
• Experience with invasive lines (arterial lines, PA catheters, transvenous pacemakers) and cardiac devices (IABP, Impella)
• Epic EMR experience preferred

• Provide expert nursing care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including STEMI, cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, and post-thoracic surgery
• Monitor and manage invasive cardiac devices and lines
• Collaborate with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Float to other regional facilities as needed, maintaining high standards of patient care
• Utilize advanced clinical technology and equipment, including Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Phillips monitors
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and uphold patient safety protocols
