Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties. The purpose of the property inspection is to verify property occupancy and report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.

• Most inspections take 5‑6 minutes.
• Complete each inspection within 4 days of assignment.
• Report general property conditions and determine occupancy based on industry standards.
• Take 9 or more photos of the property with brief comments.
• Complete a short form in a mobile app.
• Spend extended periods of time driving, making multiple stops during the day within the assigned territory.

• Computer with an internet connection.
• Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage is a plus; own gas costs).
• Smartphone (Android or iPhone).
• Printer.
• Pass a standard background check with a valid driver’s license.

This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate that varies by county and volume. You will earn the equivalent of $30–$40 per hour. Depending on the county and whether it is urban or rural, you may complete anywhere from 20 to 500 inspections per month, working 2–30 hours per week. Lower‑volume counties have higher rates; higher‑volume counties have lower rates.

Work is consistent month‑to‑month. Earn more as you become established, have greater availability, or cover a larger territory. No additional mileage reimbursement beyond the flat fee per inspection.
