Part Time 3rd Shift Grocery Stock Clerk

Overview

Primary responsibility is to Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires a defined level of product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create An Incredible Place To Work and Shop. Responsible for processing/packaging/stocking products according to Grocery Standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service unloading stock, and reloading salvage.

• Maintain product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, and customer relations to support a positive shopping environment.
• Process, package, and stock products according to Grocery Standards; clean work areas; provide customer service; unload stock; and reload salvage.

• Associates must be at least 18 years of age.

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Personal skills:
  Exceptional interpersonal skills; willingness to participate in required training and to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
• Language skills:
  Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English; able to write simple correspondence in English; able to present information in English to customers, vendors, and other associates.
• Mathematical skills:
  Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement.
• Reasoning ability:
  Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  Complete Company s training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, and product knowledge.
