Service Technician

Overview

We are hiring immediately for full‑time Service Technician positions.

Location:

Sysco, 4500 Corporate Drive Northwest, Concord, NC 28027.

Schedule:

Full time; days and hours may vary. Applications accepted online only.

• Respond to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company‑owned vehicle.
• Call existing customers to determine adequacy of service; listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Visually inspect machines to determine causes of malfunctions; dismantle machines to access problem area.
• Inspect parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems; remove and replace worn or defective parts; realign and adjust components; test machine operation following repair.
• Review inventory and order parts; ship and receive machines; maintain equipment inventory.
• Prepare machines for installation at accounts; assist in installations and removals.
• Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools, such as drills, grinders and welding torches, for machine repair.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

One year of prior service technician experience preferred. Must be able to perform essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
