EYFS Teaching Assistant

Salary: £90 to £100 per day

Schedule:

Part‑time, every Thursday and Friday, starting September

This friendly and inclusive primary school provides a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. Staff work collaboratively to ensure every child receives the support they need to flourish academically and personally.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant you will work closely with the class teacher to support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing. You will help deliver engaging activities, encourage positive social interactions, and create a stimulating learning environment.

• Support the class teacher with daily teaching activities.
• Help deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.
• Encourage positive social interactions among pupils.
• Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
• Promote children’s sense of safety, value, and inspiration to learn.

• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification (preferred).
• Have experience working within an EYFS setting.
• Demonstrate a nurturing and patient approach.
• Show passion for supporting children’s development.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Be available to work every Thursday and Friday from September.
