The Role
Working as part of an engineering team, you’ll play an important role in keeping machinery, equipment and site facilities running safely, reliably and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across production machinery and site facilities.
* Responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults and supporting effective repairs.
* Assisting with machinery installations, modifications and improvement projects.
* Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime and maximise performance.
* Maintaining accurate maintenance records and ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability.
* Following all health, safety, quality and environmental procedures.
About You
We’re looking for someone with a strong mechanical engineering foundation, a proactive attitude and a genuine passion for engineering.
You’ll ideally have:
* A recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
* At least three years’ experience in a maintenance, engineering or manufacturing environment.
* Practical mechanical maintenance experience gained through an apprenticeship, technical role or previous employment.
* Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* A strong commitment to safe working practices.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* A willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges.
