Fabricator, Manufacturing ​/ Production

We are looking for a permanent Fabricator to join a well established manufacturing company in Congleton.
Offering a 4 day working week, 36 hours Mon-Thursday, generous salary and attractive benefits with modern, clean working conditions
The Fabricator is responsible for producing complex assemblies to a high standard using specialised tools and fixtures.
Duties
 
* Read, interpret and understand engineering drawings in order to determine how products are to be correctly manufactured
 
* Use hand tools, production machinery and tooling to cut, machine, form, shape, and size components to their required dimensions specified on engineering drawings
 
* Use production machinery and tooling to resistance weld and join materials and components together in accordance with instructions and engineering drawing requirements
 
* Visually check each part to ensure it meets required standards
Requirements
 
* Time served or apprentice qualified in sheet metal work
 
* Experience of working within an engineering environment.
 
* Experience of working with manufacturing jigs and assembly aids.
 
* Experienced in using production tooling and machinery.
 
* Good level of education including Maths & English
£17.42 per hour
