Customer Team Member
Join our friendly customer service team and help create a delightful in‑store experience. Your main responsibilities include:
- Providing friendly and thoughtful service, answering customer queries, promoting Co‑op products and membership.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to solve customer problems.
- Ensuring the store is safe and compliant: restocking shelves, maintaining pricing, dates and temperatures.
- Introducing new products and services naturally and sharing experiences with teammates.
- Assisting in preparations such as bakery items and participating in community events.
- Excellent customer and people skills, capable of building positive relationships.
- Positive attitude toward change and problem‑solving.
- Strong communication skills, including speaking up and co‑operation.
- Ability to work flexibly across a range of shifts.
Support the Store Manager and help maintain high standards while guiding colleagues.
- Assist the Store Manager with day‑to‑day operations and safety compliance.
- Lead by example, keeping the store well‑stocked and presentable.
- Help colleagues perform at their best and foster a collaborative environment.
- Strong sense of community, commercial awareness and leadership skills.
- Capable of managing a team and delivering a great customer experience.
Lead a large team and drive store performance while embedding our strategies.
- Lead and inspire all Store Managers across up to 20 stores.
- Ensure that all stores deliver an outstanding in‑store experience and meet sales targets.
- Support and develop employees, overseeing training and performance.
- Implement community initiatives and manage projects that bring strategies to life.
- Strong commercial awareness, leadership and management experience.
- Ability to motivate a large team and drive results.
