• You are responsible for maintaining order and security of inmates in a correctional facility.
• You must be able to work any shift, as you may be assigned to a variety of posts including armory/key control, housing units, kitchen, medical, visitation, etc.
• You may have to employ weapons or force to maintain discipline and order.
• Veterans are encouraged to apply.

• Have a high school diploma, GED certification or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to complete all required training, including becoming a non‑commissioned security officer licensed by the state of employment (cost covered).
• Availability to work any hours, any shift.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Requirement of criminal justice experience.
