Part-Time Nanny – Essex, CT

Sitter Connect has a family seeking a part-time nanny in Essex, CT.

Tuesday & Thursdays 8 am - 5 pm with flexibility on end time. Open to considering 2 different weekdays based on candidate schedule needs. This is a year round and long term position.

January 2026

Daily caregiving for one infant aged child, including but not limited to: bottle feeding and preparation, meal preparation, dressing child, diaper changing, potty training (when applicable in future), activity planning, engaging in learning skills, assisting in achieving developmental and learning milestones, creative play, outside activities, outdoor walks and providing a safe environment at all times. Cleaning up after play areas, snacks/meals and activities with child.

$20+/hour based on experience of successful candidate

• 5+ years caregiving experience preferred
• Experience with infant and toddler aged children required
• A friendly, compassionate, patient and dedicated personality
• Communicative and responsive; always responding when parents are checking in on children
• Reliable and punctual
• Must have their own and reliable transportation
• Non-Smoker
• Willing to go above and beyond to provide exceptional care and creating a safe environment
• CPR Certified and active certification, or the ability to obtain CPR certification prior to start date
• General Wellness vaccines (childhood vaccines) updated
• Comfortable with cat (pet) in the home
