Academic Primary Care Physician - Family Medicine

Hartford Health Care is seeking a full-time Academic Primary Care Physician to join the core faculty team for the Quinnipiac University Rural Family Medicine Residency in Winsted, Connecticut. This unique opportunity combines academic medicine and outpatient primary care, allowing you to educate and mentor future family medicine physicians while delivering comprehensive care to patients across all age groups. • 100% outpatient Primary Care, caring for patients from birth through adulthood; no obstetrics

Responsibilities

• Combine clinical and faculty responsibilities
• Educate and mentor future family medicine physicians
• Deliver comprehensive care to patients across all age groups, from newborns through adulthood

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time, weekdays only, with dedicated time for teaching, precepting, patient care, and administrative responsibilities
• Phone call only; averages approximately 2 call weekends per year and 1 weeknight every 2 months
• Optional moonlighting/per diem opportunities in hospital and urgent care settings

Qualifications

• Unrestricted State of Connecticut medical license (or eligible)
• BC/BE Family Medicine
