Psychiatrist

We are seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Psychiatry for an inpatient locum tenens assignment in CT. This 120-day assignment involves managing both child/adolescent and adult units, working Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts and no call responsibilities. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric care across diverse patient populations.

• Staffing Mix: 2 other psychiatric providers splitting the unit, FNP for H&Ps

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients in an inpatient setting.
• Manage a portion of 27 child/adolescent beds, collaborating with other providers.
• Oversee a portion of 30 adult beds, working alongside a team of providers.
• Float between child/adolescent and adult units as needed.
• Manage an average of 8-10 patients per day.
• Work 7 AM to 4 PM shifts, Monday through Friday.
