Haddam-Killingworth High School has an anticipated opening for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Special Education Teacher for the school year. Special consideration will be given to applicants with experience in reading instruction. Appropriate certification is required.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized instruction for students with special education needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to differentiate instruction.
- Assess student progress and modify instruction accordingly.
- Valid state certification in Special Education.
- Experience in reading instruction is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
