Physical Education Teacher – Arch Bridge School

Immediate opening. The Arch Bridge School, part of Wellspring in Bethlehem, Connecticut, is seeking a part‑time Physical Education Teacher to deliver PE for middle and high school grades. Classes may be taught one full day or split over two days, to be discussed during the interview.

The school is state‑approved, NEASC accredited, and serves residential and day students with core academics and college‑prep courses. Class sizes are small, typically 4–8 students (maximum 12), and teachers receive support from a team of clinicians.

• Design and deliver engaging physical education lessons for middle and high school students.
• Schedule classes flexibly, covering either a full day or two partial days.
• Collaborate with teaching and clinical staff to support student wellness and academic success.
• Maintain a creative, challenging, and relational classroom environment where each student is known as an individual.

• Connecticut Certification in Physical Education (PreK‑12, 044) or working toward it.
• Experience teaching PE in a small, supportive environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

• Connecticut Certification, Physical Education, PreK‑12 (044)
• Certified by the State of Connecticut to teach physical education, or in the process of obtaining certification.
