Description:
Northwestern Regional High School, a small, rural, suburban high school recognized at both the state and national level for academic excellence, is seeking a dynamic music educator as a long term substitute to teach a comprehensive, high achieving band program.
- Music, Pre-K through 12, Certification (049)
- Knowledge of overall operation of an instrumental music program
- Wide ranging repertoire of knowledge and strategies used to teach the elements and language of music
- UConn ECE certification, or must be able to become certified
- Ability to work collaboratively with music staff
- Strong communication, public relations and interpersonal skills
- Ability to form positive relationships with students, parents and staff members
