Design Project Manager – Data Center Design

Location:

USA. This role can be based anywhere in the USA. The successful candidate should expect to travel up to 30% of the time domestically within the United States.

• Facilitate client requirements for the design of hyperscale data centers throughout the United States.
• Manage the design process from campus planning/basis of design through issuance of construction drawings, including creating a shared plan for execution of design and overseeing construction administration services provided by the external design team, coordinating procurement, issuing and administering change orders, and issuing engineering information to vendors and suppliers.
• Work with internal and external teams, building strong positive relationships and ensuring communication, and ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met.
• Travel to project sites and client meetings as needed (up to 30% of the employee’s schedule).
• Ensure project deliverables meet milestones, deadlines, and are presented in the required format for the final client.

• 10 or more years of project design experience with data center designs, OR large complex construction projects such as hospitals, high‑rises, laboratories, manufacturing plants, or high‑power plants.
• Experience working with internal and external multidisciplinary teams, and directly with final client teams.
• Experience preparing project plans, technical specifications, implementation plans and schedules, and coordinating internal and external teams.
• Experience with Autodesk platforms:
  Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or Building Information Modelling (BIM) engineered solutions.
• BA in Architecture or Engineering, or related field. Preferred licensure (PE, NCARB, RA) is strongly preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with evolving priorities in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment.

Nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO accrue per year. Salary range for this position is $80,461–132,761. Actual salaries vary based on experience, education, budget, and location.
