BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) – American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) – AHA approved.

All existing staff will be evaluated based on criteria established. All tiers must fulfill requirements to move to a higher level. Any full‑time or part‑time phlebotomist is eligible to participate in the professional career advancement ladder. Temporary staff and Per Diem staff are not eligible. Participation in the professional ladder is optional; the employee must request advancement and will be granted upon completion of required criteria.

Approval of advancement is granted/verified by the direct supervisor. Subject to change on an annual basis.
