Forklift Operator - Experienced - Part-Time - Schedule B

Overview:
Forklift Operators are critical to our success at Frito-Lay. Our Forklift Operators are responsible for a variety of typical warehouse duties, including handling material and operating a forklift to move product around a warehouse. This role offers growth opportunities within Frito-Lay and Pepsi Co.

• Safely operate a reverse steering stand-up CROWN forklift after training and certification in a busy, fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Unload individual floor-stacked cases or full pallets of product off trailers onto pallet boards, and move to/from trailers or within the warehouse.
• Pick appropriate cases according to order using required technology and pay attention to labels.
• Ensure successful performance by meeting or exceeding performance time standards post-training period.
• Properly manage warehouse inventory by using handheld scanners and Inventory Control Systems.
• General housekeeping and sanitation tasks as required (e.g., sweep floors, assist with trailer cleaning, take out trash).

Minimum qualifications:

• You are 18 years of age or older.
• You can lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You can stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You can climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You can repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You are willing and able to work at heights using ladders or lifts to access areas of the plant.
• You are willing and able to work in environments with extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.

Preferred (top candidates):

• One year of experience operating a forklift or using equipment in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.

We are open 24 hours a day, which may affect scheduling. The role is physical and requires standing for long periods. Our application process takes 20-25 minutes on any device.
