Lab Technician

Our client, a leader in consumer product development and research, is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the R&D / Prototyping Lab supporting innovative prototyping and formulation processes. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, hands‑on skills, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Full time, Contract

• Build and assemble small prototypes using hand tools, lab equipment, and basic machining techniques.
• Operate, maintain, and optimize SLA and FDM 3D printers, troubleshooting and repairing as needed.
• Assist in lab-scale processing of soap-based personal care products under guidance.
• Support CAD design tasks and document procedures, maintenance logs, and prototype iterations.
• Maintain lab cleanliness, organization, and safety standards to ensure a productive work environment.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on skills with tools, machines, and lab equipment.
• Experience working with 3D printing technologies such as SLA and FDM.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a lab setting.
• Comfortable with basic machining processes like drilling, grinding, and filing.
• Associate degree in a related field or actively enrolled in an accredited program with relevant experience, or equivalent work experience in manufacturing or toolmaking.
