Full-Time - Morris, CT

Job Description:

The CNC Machine Operators’ responsibility is to set up and run our new CNC machines. The preferred candidate will have 5+ years operating and setting up CNC machines, focusing on safety, quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up and operating CNC lathes, mills, and other machining tools.

• Loading raw materials, tools, and programs into the machine.

• Inspecting parts for accuracy and defects.

• Using measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.

• Monitoring machine operation and making adjustments as needed.

• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting machine issues.

• Following safety procedures and guidelines for operating machinery.

Requirements:

• Ability to analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand part requirements.

• Translating blueprints into G-code or other programming languages for the machine.

• Ability to operate and maintain various CNC machines.

• Excellent math skills.

• Attention to detail and precision.

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
