  • Conduct routine facility inspections and verify that employees follow established production and sanitation procedures.
  • Review batch records, testing documentation, labels and packaging for accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform and document quality checks throughout production and packaging, including product weights, packaging integrity and label accuracy.
  • Oversee product holds, quality review and release procedures, coordinating required approvals.
  • Audit inventory records, product movements, manifests and seed-to-sale tracking for accuracy.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, product complaints and quality deviations.
  • Document root causes, corrective actions and follow-up verification.
  • Train employees on compliance requirements, quality standards and proper documentation.
  • Track regulatory changes and coordinate necessary updates with leadership.
  • Maintain organized records and clear reporting on inspection findings, open issues and corrective‑action deadlines.
  • Escalate concerns promptly and pause affected activities or place products on hold when warranted.
Qualifications
  • At least three years of experience in cannabis compliance, quality assurance, quality control or regulated manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge of Connecticut cannabis regulations and DCP requirements strongly preferred.
  • Experience conducting audits, preparing for inspections and managing corrective actions.
  • Ability to write clear, practical SOPs and maintain accurate records.
  • Familiarity with cannabis seed-to-sale systems, inventory reconciliation and manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment and consistent follow-through.
  • Ability to communicate requirements clearly and hold teams accountable professionally.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, data entry and document management.
  • Comfortable working on the production floor and independently managing competing priorities.
Preferred Experience
  • Cannabis extraction, infused products, edibles or packaging operations.
  • Food safety, sanitation, HACCP or GMP programs.
  • Batch record review, label verification and product quality investigations.
  • Quality management systems and document control.
  • Relevant degree or professional certification; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
Compensation and Schedule
  • Full-time, on-site at our Sterling, Connecticut manufacturing facility.
  • Benefits will be discussed during the interview process.
