Experts of store process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. This team conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise set‑up and maintenance and pricing processes for all areas of the store.

Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by supporting pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

• Provide a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Engage guests to help solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and express gratitude for choosing Target.
• Execute daily tasks assigned by your leader to achieve business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and placing promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment when certified to move merchandise or store fixtures.
• Carry out processes such as changing prices, merchandise set‑up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed by your leader for all areas.
• Learn how operational procedures impact inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about available resources, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve satisfaction.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work safely at all times; comply with safety policies and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as backup cashier and digital fulfillment processes, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws.
• Perform other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Remain mobile throughout the scheduled shift.
