Maintenance Technician

SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team under the direction of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning and safety of our facilities, equipment, and systems.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical.
• CNC machinery/assembly equipment mechanical and electrical troubleshooting (mills, lathes, presses, custom assembly equipment related to business).
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Tasks related to machine installation (air, electrical, hydraulic). This could include use of fork trucks and/or high lifts.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Collaborate with other departments and contractors as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Janitorial duties as needed.
• Chemical maintenance on Cleanline.
• Plumbing repairs, carpentry and general maintenance and upkeep of the facility.
• Adheres to all safety rules and report questionable conditions to manager.
• Apply and recommend Lean practices.

• Knowledge in the use and maintenance of machines and safety practices.
• Interpersonal skills to handle different internal personnel and to meet requirements and customer satisfaction.
• Problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills to determine and solve technical problems arising on a daily basis.
• Ability to meet deadlines for completion of tasks in a timely manner.

• Safety (closing of Near‑Misses)
• OSHA compliance (LOTO, PPE)

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.

Lifting requirements include but not limited to the following:

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds

Starting at $25.00 - $40.00/hour
