As a DSP, you’ll support adults with disabilities in community and employment settings by:
- Assisting with daily living, social, and vocational skills
- Supporting individuals at community activities and work sites
- Encouraging independence, choice, and community inclusion
- Providing transportation to program activities and job sites
- Helping with personal care when needed (eating, dressing, toileting)
- Supporting janitorial/vocational training tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, restroom cleaning, and trash removal
- Completing daily documentation and following individual support plans
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent required
- Compassionate, reliable, patient, and willing to learn

- Healthcare, human services, behavioral health, or special education experience
- Job coaching or vocational support experience
- Experience supporting a family member or loved one with a disability.
