Job OverviewThe Logistics Clerk is responsible for real‑time analysis, assisting the coordination and balance of Distribution Center Logistics Operations. Monitors and documents all productivity measurements. Supports the Department Managers/Leads to ensure all tasks are ready for the transfer crew. Reports, researches and resolves issues that occur in the interface between DC Operations and Logistics in a timely manner. Supports Department Managers/Leads to ensure all End of Day (EOD) tasks are completed and preparation tasks are ready for the next shift.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for real‑time analysis, coordination and balance of DC Logistics (Transfer) Operations.
- Collect and record current DOT/Log data and report to the Traffic Manager & Logistics Manager.
- Monitor and track equipment issued as needed.
- Provide support in reporting, researching and resolving issues that occur in daily operations.
- Provide administrative support for the Logistics Department.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge and understanding of all Systems.
- Support fleet maintenance including in‑house and outsourced repairs.
- Support yard maintenance to ensure safe operating conditions are maintained.
- Create routes and Transfer Driver schedules that facilitate shipment company goods.
- Maintain training logs.
- Coordinate communication with drivers arriving at the facility.
- Support OB Logistics Manager, Traffic Manager and Logistics Manager as needed.
- Perform additional duties as requested.
- Provide routine information and support to less experienced staff.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Mathematical aptitude.
- Multi‑tasking under fast‑paced conditions.
- Preferable 1‑3 years of direct high‑volume logistics or shipping experience.
- Minimum 18 years old.
Hourly pay $20.00 – $27.00/hour (based on experience).
