Warehouse Lead

The Department Lead is responsible for real-time analysis, coordination and balance of Department Operations including allocation of tasks. The role supports picking, loading and other operations, provides administrative support and maintains a working knowledge of all needed systems.

• Recording and reporting of inbound/outbound deliveries.
• Providing support in reporting, researching and resolving issues that occur in the interface between host system and WMS in a timely manner.
• Ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Providing administrative support for the Department Managers.
• Developing and maintaining a working knowledge and understanding of all needed systems.
• Supporting picking, loading and other operations as needed.
• Working under direct supervision of the DC Department Managers with opportunity for unreviewed decision-making.
• All other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of warehouse experience including leadership experience in a warehouse environment.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP and Red Prairie.
• Detail oriented and accurate.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly recognize and diagnose trend and patterns in productivity data.
• Must be able to work flexible hours determined by the needs of the department including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with Bob’s.

• Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to move throughout all areas of the distribution center.
• Move objects up to 250 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Stand and walk continuously to perform job functions.
• Standing, walking, lifting, and arranging product: 90%
• Sitting: 5%
• Desk or phone work: 5%

Starting hourly pay at $21.00 - $25.00/hour (Based on experience).
