Schedule:

Sunday–Thursday 10 pm.

In this essential role, you will work directly with the inventory department, supervisors, and leads to verify quantities of product received and loaded onto trucks at the distribution centers. This role requires a strong understanding of product, receiving/loading procedures, and back stock. The team ensures products are staged correctly so we can efficiently receive and load trucks with accuracy while maintaining a clean and safe work area.

• Verify product quantities against packing slips/purchase orders.
• Check and report any damage due to refrigeration, travel, or handling by inbound freight companies.
• Sort or break down all incoming product.
• Build steady and secure pallets to be put into back stock reserves.
• Wrap pallets as necessary.
• Ensure accurate labeling of product and pallets for put‑away in proper pick slots or back stock locations.
• Keep the area clean and debris out of the work area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Operate all equipment safely and inspect assigned jack for safety issues.
• Wear personal protective equipment as required.
• Report any violation of company policy to supervisor or lead.
• Perform duties in accordance with HACCP and SQF policies and procedures.

• Receiver functions completed in accordance with company standards and procedures, including quality and safety regulations.
• Effective communication and coordination with company personnel and management.
• Assistance and support provided as needed.
• Deadlines met.

• Warehouse/Operations preferred but not required.
• Understanding of safety guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of applicable Bakco functions and RF systems.

• Understand and properly follow all receiving procedures, including how to use Bakco and RF systems.
• Understand all paperwork related to receiving, including purchase orders, bills of lading, and packing lists.
• Have a global understanding of warehouse processes.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Good judgment required for situations when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Onsite role at a UNFI location such as a distribution center or office.

• Lift up to 75 pounds and stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.
• Operate work‑related equipment.
• Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead and in or under equipment.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
