The primary responsibility of the Assembly Equipment Operator is to put-away built/unbuilt assembly product to the proper location, pick product to be assembled and pick chairs to be shipped.
- Count received product to verify inventory accuracy.
- Identify space needs and make appropriate adjustments such as double stack pallets of product to save space using a pallet stacker.
- Relocate staged material to proper locations.
- Use RF scanner to make inventory movement entries.
- Pick product for Cross Dock deliveries.
- Document picked product for assembly stats by builder.
- Audit locations for inventory accuracy.
- Maintain proper appearance of assembly room including:
- Pallets:
Sorted and stacked neatly and safely - Inspect and maintain electric pallet jacks and pallet stackers
- Pallets:
- Observe all the safety requirements of Bob’s Discount Furniture.
- All other duties as assigned.

Key Skills For Success- General knowledge of distribution center operations.
- Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge and ability to utilize an RF scanner.
- Ability to safely and effectively utilize various equipment such as forklift, cherry picker, etc.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse atmosphere.
- Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Solid knowledge and competence on RF scanner.
- Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with Bob’s.
- Starting hourly pay at $18.00 - $20.00/hour (Based on Experience)

- Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Ability to move throughout all areas of the distribution center.
- Move objects up to 250 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Stand and walk continuously to perform job functions.
