To registrar all patients in an accurate and timely manner. Obtain and verify all insurance and demographic information necessary to ensure payment for services rendered. Direct and provide information to patients and visitors. Perform all communication procedures necessary for the efficient operation of the telecommunication system in the facility.

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Ability to type 20 wpm required.
• Current familiarity with all common insurance programs, including their requirements for referral, precertification, collecting patients (co-pays) on visits, etc.
• Medical terminology required.
• Minimum one year of work experience or in the job training previous registration experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft office, including Word and Excel required.
• Experience with internet searches and Microsoft email required.
• Knowledge of various Insurance companies and benefits preferred.
