Summary
The Laboratory Tech Assistant is primarily responsible for phlebotomy procedures including venipunctures, capillary blood sampling, and bleeding time tests. Other required tasks include requisitioning send‑out tests, accessioning in‑house patient testing, filing, and other clerical duties.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in phlebotomy
- Minimum of four weeks on‑the‑job training in phlebotomy, or previous phlebotomy experience
