• Safely handle, load, and detonate explosives for quarry operations
• Inspect blast areas and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Calculate and prepare blast patterns for optimal material fragmentation
• Operate and maintain blasting equipment and related tools
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate blasting schedules

• Demonstrated ability to work safely and follow strict safety protocols
• Strong understanding of blasting techniques and quarry operations
• Capability to read and interpret technical plans and measurements
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level

• $27.20 per hour
• Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension
