What You'll Be Doing

• Operate roof bolting and drilling equipment safely and efficiently in underground quarry operations
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on drilling machinery
• Monitor ground conditions and install roof support systems as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and productive work practices
• Document work activities and report any hazards or equipment issues

What Are We Looking For

• Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment in underground environments
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and hazard recognition
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing site conditions
• Effective communication skills and attention to detail

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
