Overview
The City of Conover is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Street Maintenance Worker. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values teamwork, and takes pride in maintaining the infrastructure that keeps our city running smoothly.
Responsibilities- Perform manual labor, including concrete work, asphalt work, grade work, and truck driving.
- Endure heavy physical labor in various weather conditions throughout the year.
- Apply general construction knowledge, including tools, materials, and equipment used in construction and maintenance work.
- Experience with farm or grounds maintenance activities and implements is preferred.
- Possess strong customer service communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
General construction experience is preferred. The candidate should be able to work in a team and maintain a customer-focused approach.
