Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Manager at Axjo America

Axjo America is a leading injection molding manufacturer and recycler, producing high‑quality spools and reels for the wire and cable industry using 100% recycled materials. We are committed to sustainability, innovation, and operational excellence.

We’re looking for a hands‑on, technically skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operations in a high‑volume, automated manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and deep technical expertise in controls, automation, and robotics.

• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot and repair injection molding machines, robotics, and auxiliary equipment.
• Manage CMMS (e.g., Maint Master) for scheduling and tracking maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on equipment installations and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians.
• Support capital projects and equipment commissioning.

• 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing (plastics/injection molding preferred).
• Strong knowledge of PLCs (Siemens), robotics (ABB/Fanuc), and industrial automation.
• Strong electrical background with the ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics.
• Experience with Hydraulic, Pneumatic, HVAC, Air Compressor and Chilled Water systems.
• Proficiency in CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or industrial maintenance.
• Experience with sustainability initiatives or recycling operations.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
