- Supervise printing operation, bindery, and mail operation.
- Schedule and prioritize printing of jobs. Determine method or production.
- Prepare and maintain a budget for the department including the supplies and departmental inventory.
- Assure proper billing of each department/campus for printing and postage expenses.
- Make recommendations for equipment and maintenance of equipment to Director of Communications.
- Supervise compilation of campus orders for printed materials/forms to campuses/departments.
- Supervise level of forms in warehouse inventory.
- Number all District forms and maintain list.
- Supervise mail operation and delivery of printed materials.
- Administration of the bulk mailing, first class, and presort permits for the District.
- Any other tasks that may be assigned to the department.
- Basic computer experience
- Experience in budget preparation, inventory control, and accounting
Education/Certification:
Special Knowledge/
Skills:
- Organizational and time management skills
- Basic knowledge of printing and bindery equipment
- Basic knowledge of paper and other types of stock used in the printing industry
Maintain emotional control under stress. Occasional district travel; occasional prolonged and irregular hours. Frequent standing, bending, and stooping. Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
SALARY:PAY GRADE: AUX - 10
-Minimum hourly rate - $33.75
