NTB is proud to join the Mavis Tire family. We're looking for full‑time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Conroe, TX area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

As Mavis's leaders in undercar repairs, our Automotive Mechanics inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles. They perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks. Responsibilities include completing state‑mandated inspections, changing oil and filters, checking fluids, replacing worn parts, and dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• At least 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Extensive personal tool box for undercar repairs
• Preferred:
  State inspection license(s)
• Preferred: ASE Certifications – Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), Brakes (A5)

Physical requirements:

stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and repeat movements consistent with vehicle maintenance. Must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
