Robotics Engineer- Bilingual Chinese

Robotics Engineer (Bilingual Chinese/English) $110K-135K/YR Our client, a manufacturer of energy equipment and components in the Conroe, Texas area, is seeking a Robotics Engineer to join its team. In this hands-on role, you will design, implement, and support the robotic automation systems that improve safety, quality, and productivity on the manufacturing floor. Because the role involves close collaboration with Chinese-speaking colleagues and partners, fluency in Chinese and English is essential.

Responsibilities Design, program, test, and commission industrial robotic systems Develop robot programs using FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa/Motoman, or Universal Robots platforms Configure end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), vision systems, sensors, and peripheral equipment Optimize robot cycle times and troubleshoot robotic systems Collaborate with Controls Engineers to integrate robots with PLCs, HMIs, conveyors, and safety systems Provide production support, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement Manage small-to-medium automation projects and coordinate with suppliers

Required Qualifications Fluent in Chinese and English (spoken and written) Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field 3 to 7 years of industrial robotics experience, including implementation of industrial robotic systems

Experience with industrial robot programming, PLC integration, and industrial networking Background in manufacturing support Project management experience Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
