VP of Finance

Role Overview

Ellison Development is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead all areas of financial operations for the growing business. Reporting to the Owners, this position will oversee core FP&A functions, KPI's, debt reporting, diligence, long‑range planning and strategy. We are seeking 10+ years’ experience, ideally with some recent experience working for or with PE or VC backed companies in the real estate market.

• Source new capital and manage the relationship
• Lead all areas of FP&A including budgeting, reporting, and forecasting
• Create dashboards and financial models to deliver operational metrics and KPI reporting
• Partner with key stakeholders and various department heads, including Sales & Marketing, Construction and HR
• Work closely with financial institutions on strategy and planning
• Provide solutions and suggestions to improve operational efficiency and meet deadlines
• Other ad hoc projects as needed

• 10+ years of real estate finance experience, with direct capital‑raising responsibility
• Demonstrated success raising capital for development projects
• 5+ years of land investment or residential development experience, including:
  • Homebuilders
  • Developers
  • Land banks
  • Private equity or real estate funds
• Strong lender and investor network relevant to Texas residential development
