OverviewHCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to support patient care and imaging excellence. The position is Mid-Shift and full-time.

As an MRI Technologist, you will assist physicians in performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, equipment functionality, and quality image acquisition.
Responsibilities- Complete required paperwork for every patient, including exams, scheduling, physician orders, department logs, imaging records, consents, medical records, and patient charges.
- Transport patients to and from the exam room and emergency department.
- Monitor equipment for mechanical safety and explain procedures to reduce patient anxiety.
- Position patients on the exam table, adjust immobilization devices, and obtain optimum views of requested body areas.
- Collaborate with the Diagnostic Imaging Department to meet patient and departmental needs.
- Graduate of an accredited MRI Technologist program.
- Current licensure or permit in the State of Texas (TDH).
- CT registry preferred; MRI registry required within 6 months of hire for MRI registry‑eligible candidates.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hospital‑imaging department; 1 year experience in CT or MRI preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS certification required.
