As an MRI Technologist, you will assist physicians in performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, equipment functionality, and quality image acquisition.

• Complete required paperwork for every patient, including exams, scheduling, physician orders, department logs, imaging records, consents, medical records, and patient charges.
• Transport patients to and from the exam room and emergency department.
• Monitor equipment for mechanical safety and explain procedures to reduce patient anxiety.
• Position patients on the exam table, adjust immobilization devices, and obtain optimum views of requested body areas.
• Collaborate with the Diagnostic Imaging Department to meet patient and departmental needs.

• Graduate of an accredited MRI Technologist program.
• Current licensure or permit in the State of Texas (TDH).
• CT registry preferred; MRI registry required within 6 months of hire for MRI registry‑eligible candidates.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hospital‑imaging department; 1 year experience in CT or MRI preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
