Job Summary

Responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to Commercial Lines Accounts. This includes delivering prompt, accurate, and courteous service to agency clients, working independently and collaboratively with clients, producers, and company representatives to design and execute comprehensive insurance programs tailored to client needs. Developing professional rapport with clients, company representatives, and business associates by maintaining knowledge of commercial lines coverage and underwriting guidelines.

Ensuring security and client confidentiality, and fostering a positive work environment.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Explore, create, execute, and review all necessary information to design and implement appropriate insurance programs for both new and renewing clients, following agency and underwriting guidelines.
  • Manage and maintain assigned book of business, ensuring timely renewal processes to protect client interests, agency E&O exposure, and carrier relationships.
  • Represent insureds accurately to carrier partners according to submission standards.
  • Prepare proposals and summaries of insurance, collaborate with producers to present proposals, and obtain required signatures and warranties to secure coverage.
  • Maintain and update agency management systems with all required information per procedures.
  • Prepare summaries of insurance for review with producers and clients.
  • Prioritize and manage workflow to ensure responsibilities are handled efficiently and accurately.
  • Collaborate with producers, associates, and team members, providing technical support to assist clients and achieve agency goals.
  • Stay informed about industry, state, and federal regulations and carrier underwriting requirements.
  • Educate and advise clients on coverages, exclusions, and exposures.
  • Represent the agency alongside producers in handling complaints and concerns to maintain positive relationships with clients and carriers.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management to support organizational goals.

Education and Special Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • Property & casualty license
  • 3-5 years of experience in property & casualty marketing preferred
  • Awareness of E&O exposure and prevention techniques
