Opportunity

The Vice President of Sales serves as the strategic architect and executive leader of all revenue‑generation initiatives at Key Safety. This role sets the sales vision, builds scalable systems, and develops a team capable of consistently achieving and exceeding growth objectives. It blends big‑picture strategy with hands‑on leadership and execution.

What You’ll Lead Sales Strategy and Leadership
  • Evaluate, refine, and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with growth objectives.
  • Establish sales goals, KPIs, and forecasting models that enable predictable revenue generation.
  • Oversee segmentation, pricing models, and market positioning to ensure competitive advantage.
  • Lead the development of new channels, partnerships, and verticals.
  • Integrate technology, analytics, and CRM systems to improve visibility and accountability.
Sales Team Leadership and Development
  • Build, lead, and inspire a high‑performing team of Business Development Managers and Account Executives.
  • Create a culture of accountability, learning, and results.
  • Design and execute professional development plans and performance‑based compensation structures.
  • Strengthen collaboration between Sales, Operations, and Marketing.
Market Expansion and Key Accounts
  • Drive expansion into new markets, customer segments, and product categories.
  • Maintain and grow executive‑level relationships with major accounts.
  • Develop annual sales budgets, headcount plans, and performance forecasts.
Sales Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting
  • Develop annual sales budgets, headcount plans, and performance forecasts.
  • Partner with the President and Operations to align on pricing, margins, and profitability.
  • Present revenue forecasts, strategic recommendations, and performance insights to leadership.
Marketing and Brand Collaboration
  • Align sales and marketing strategies to ensure consistent messaging and market presence.
  • Support development of campaigns, events, and digital strategies to enhance lead generation.
  • Represent Key Safety at industry conferences and events as a thought leader.
Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement
  • Implement best practices for pipeline management, territory planning, and sales enablement.
  • Drive operational efficiency through data analytics and process refinement.
  • Introduce tools, technologies, and reporting mechanisms to strengthen decision‑making.
Requirements Education and Training
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required.
  • MBA or advanced business education preferred.
Experience
  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including 5+ years managing a team.
  • Proven success developing and executing multi‑channel B2B sales strategies.
  • Experience in safety products, PPE, or industrial supply industry strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale sales organizations and drive double‑digit annual growth.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Visionary leadership with hands‑on execution capability.
  • Advanced sales strategy, forecasting, and negotiation expertise.
  • Deep understanding of sales operations, CRM utilization, and performance analytics.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.

Work Environment and

Physical Requirements
  • Executive role involving frequent travel to client sites, vendor meetings, and industry events.
