Multi-Unit Team Leader at H&R Block

• Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices and lead the customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business.
• Serve as the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving office growth objectives for three tax offices. Prior tax preparation experience is not required.
• Start a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season. From January to April, transition to full-time, including evening and weekend hours as needed. This role is in-person and not remote.
• Lead daily team meetings, communicate essential information to tax office associates, and create associate work schedules across all offices with accurate timekeeping and labor management.
• Travel between offices as required and, when needed, assist with tax returns after completing the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.

• People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates
• Aptitude for executing growth plans and fostering a growth culture
• Strong decision-making and judgment in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset
• Computer proficiency (MS Office)
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns)
