Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift and Indoor Crane Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials and equipment within our facility. If you have a strong background in forklift operations and indoor crane handling, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities- Operate forklifts and indoor cranes to transport materials safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, and organize materials in storage and production areas
- Perform daily inspections of equipment to ensure operational safety and report any issues
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
- Assist with inventory management and ensure proper documentation of materials
- Collaborate with team members to meet production and operational goals
- High school diploma or GED required; a degree is a plus
- 3 years of proven experience operating forklifts and indoor cranes
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and equipment maintenance
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Proficient in operating forklifts, indoor cranes, and other material‑handling equipment
- Understanding load limits, balance, and material handling to avoid accidents or damage
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations, workplace safety standards, and equipment inspection protocols
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance of forklifts and cranes to ensure equipment reliability
- Experience tracking and managing materials, often using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to precisely maneuver equipment in tight or confined spaces
- Capacity to lift and move heavy materials as required
- Ensuring materials are moved, stored, or loaded without errors or damages
- Ability to collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments
- Quick thinking to address issues like equipment malfunctions or load imbalances
- Efficiently prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and operational needs
- Working cohesively with others to maintain workflow and safety
- Forklift Operator Certification upon being hired
- Crane Operator Certification upon being hired
- Knowledge of material storage and organization techniques
