ABOUTTHE ROLE
BRAVE Books is looking for a Paid Media Buyer to own and scale our paid acquisition across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google/You Tube, Tik Tok, and other performance channels. This role is directly responsible for driving profitable customer acquisition through disciplined testing, budget management, and continuous optimization.
You’ll work closely with designers, copywriters, analysts, and leadership to turn strong messaging into scalable campaigns. This is a hands‑on role for someone who lives inside ad accounts, understands performance tradeoffs, and is comfortable managing real budgets with real accountability.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Own day‑to‑day management of paid media accounts (Meta, Google/You Tube, Tik Tok)
- Launch, test, and scale campaigns across multiple ads accounts and funnels
- Manage budgets, pacing, and spend efficiency to hit CPA, ROAS, and CPC targets
- Build and iterate on account structures, audiences, and bidding strategies
- Collaborate with copywriters and designers to develop high‑performing creative
- Analyze performance data and make rapid optimization decisions
- Run structured creative, audience, and offer testing frameworks
- Monitor attribution, conversion tracking, and platform signal health
- Report on performance metrics and insights to marketing leadership
- Identify opportunities to expand into new channels and placements
- Stay current on platform updates, policy changes, and best practices
- Support launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns with aggressive execution
- Research competitors and other advertisers to take inspiration from winning campaigns and ads
- Proven experience managing paid media campaigns on Meta Ads
- Experience with Google Ads, including You Tube
- Strong understanding of performance metrics (CPA, ROAS, CAC, LTV)
- Hands‑on experience scaling eCommerce or subscription offers
- Strong analytical skills and comfort making decisions from data
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously
- High ownership mentality and comfort being accountable to results
- Clear communicator who can collaborate cross‑functionally
- Alignment with BRAVE Books’ mission and values
- Experience running Tik Tok Ads at scale
- Experience with subscription‑based businesses
- Familiarity with Shopify, attribution tools, and analytics platforms
- Experience working closely with in‑house creative teams
- Background in direct‑response or performance marketing
- Experience managing six‑figure+ monthly ad budgets
