Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work on a 23-bed post-surgical unit (Floor 2N)

• Patient ratio of 1:6

• Day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 2 CNAs, and 1 US

• Night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, and 2 CNAs

• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period

• Use Baxter IV pumps and Meditech EMR system

• Perform typical procedures including NGT insertion and tube feedings, CBI

• Must have Med-Surg/Tele experience and IV insertion & phlebotomy skills

• Preferred skills include wound care and ability to recognize stroke symptoms

• Required certification: ACLS

• Royal blue scrubs required for dress code

• Must be a team player, organized, and take initiative
