Job Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking a Registered Nurse Rehabilitation for our facility to continue providing all patients with high‑quality, efficient care. The ideal candidate is committed to patient care, demonstrates teamwork, adaptability, and serves as a resource to the patient care team.
What You Will Do In Your Role- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients on our Rehabilitation Unit.
- Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
- Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
- Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.
- Be accountable for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse on a Medical/Surgical Unit required; rehabilitation experience preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi‑State Compact License (employees with RN Compact License must obtain a Texas RN License within 60 days of hire).
- Current basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
